How BA Advisory Desk handles client information.

Last updated: May 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BA Advisory Desk handles information collected through the website, client workspace, intake forms, file uploads, payments, subscriptions, support requests, and advisory services.

We do not sell client files or client project information. Client material is used to operate the service, deliver advisory work, secure the workspace, support clients, and maintain necessary business records.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account and contact information, such as name, work email, company name, job title, country, time zone, and authorized workspace users.
  • Project and workspace information submitted through forms, intake requests, custom quote requests, messages, revision notes, and support communications.
  • Uploaded source materials, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images, transcripts, process notes, screenshots, and related project material.
  • Payment and subscription records processed through Stripe or another payment provider, such as transaction IDs, invoice status, plan status, and refund or dispute records. BA Advisory Desk does not store full card numbers.
  • Operational and technical records, such as request status, credit usage, deliverable versions, downloads, audit logs, IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, and security events.

2. Information About Others

Clients may submit information about employees, contractors, customers, vendors, stakeholders, or other third parties. Clients are responsible for having the right permissions or legal basis to provide that information and should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information.

3. How We Use Information

  • To create, authenticate, secure, and manage client accounts and workspaces.
  • To review source material, scope requests, manage credits, prepare deliverables, and provide advisory support.
  • To process payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, disputes, credit top ups, and account notices.
  • To send account, security, payment, low-credit, deliverable, support, and administrative notifications.
  • To troubleshoot issues, maintain audit trails, prevent misuse, enforce terms, improve service operations, and comply with legal, accounting, security, and dispute obligations.

4. Service Providers And Disclosure

We use trusted service providers to operate the service, including hosting, authentication, private storage, payment processing, email delivery, security monitoring, analytics or operational diagnostics, customer support, and professional advisers when needed. These providers process information only as needed to support BA Advisory Desk operations, comply with law, or protect the service.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, to investigate misuse, to respond to payment disputes, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

5. Client Files And Confidentiality

Client files are used to perform requested advisory work. Access is limited to personnel, systems, and providers with a business need to deliver, secure, support, audit, or maintain the service. Files may be stored, processed, transmitted, backed up, logged, or retained as needed for those purposes.

6. Cookies, Local Storage, And Website Data

The website and workspace may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies for account access, security, preferences, payment/session flows, diagnostics, and service operation. Browser controls may allow you to limit some storage, but certain features may not work without it.

7. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe or another approved payment processor. The processor may collect card, billing, tax, anti-fraud, and transaction information under its own terms and privacy policy. BA Advisory Desk receives limited payment, subscription, invoice, refund, and dispute status information needed to operate the service.

8. Retention

We retain account, billing, audit, request, support, payment, deliverable, and security records as needed for service delivery, legal, accounting, dispute, continuity, and security purposes. Deletion requests may be limited where records are needed for legal obligations, accounting, security, backups, active disputes, fraud prevention, or legitimate business records.

9. Security

We use practical safeguards such as account authentication, role-based access, private storage controls, signed download links, audit logs, secure transport, and payment-provider controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Clients are responsible for using strong credentials, limiting authorized users, and avoiding unnecessary sensitive uploads.

10. International Processing

Information may be processed in countries where BA Advisory Desk, its personnel, or its service providers operate. Privacy and security protections may differ by jurisdiction. We use operational safeguards intended to protect client information in the context of a business advisory service.

11. Your Choices And Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your account information by contacting support. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent where consent is used, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity or account authority before completing a request.

12. Children, Third-Party Links, And Updates

The service is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The website or workspace may link to third-party sites or services, and their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We may update this policy from time to time by posting a revised version with a new last-updated date.
